This is for anyone who wants to feel less ruled by stress and more able to meet life with clarity, supported by their capacity to pause, soften, and tend.
It’s especially for those who hold a lot, think a lot, and are often the ones others rely on, while their own needs come last. Life may look “fine” from the outside, but inside, there’s a sense of being constantly on, anxious, or running on empty.
This isn’t about pushing harder or adding more to your to-do list. It’s for those who want to learn how to work with their nervous system, so everyday life feels more supported from the inside out.
Over 100 days, you’ll be supported through four in-person sessions, digital worksheets and resources, recorded meditations, bite-sized teachings, weekly themed practice guides, and ongoing group support –allowing you to engage at a pace that fits real life.
Through an integrative somatic approach, you’ll be introduced to the foundations of Polyvagal Theory and the language of the nervous system in clear, accessible terms. Together, we’ll explore how your nervous system responds to stress, safety, connection, and rest — and how to support it.
Rather than adding more to your to-do list, the focus is on simple, research-informed tools and practices that can be woven into everyday life. You’ll be supported to listen to your inner world, cultivate embodied presence, and develop self-leadership — helping you ground, settle, and regulate even when things are busy or demanding.
Throughout the journey, you can expect:
A gentle shift from mental busyness into greater calm and clarity
Grow your own toolkit of practices to embed in daily life
Increased awareness of your patterns, internal stories, and needs
Built small, sustainable everyday shifts that develop resilience and capacity over time
A deeper sense of connection to yourself, your choices, and your inner resources
You’ll be part of a group of up to 12 people, offering a sense of connection and shared learning, while still allowing you to move at a pace that fits your life. This is about building capacity gradually, not another quick-fix fad.
We’ll meet in person four times:
• Sunday 1st Feb, 2 – 4.30pm
• Saturday 21st Feb, 2 – 4.30pm
• Saturday 14th March, 2 – 4.30pm
• Saturday 18th April, 2 – 4.30pm
Access to a private WhatsApp group, offering a space to share reflections, ask questions, and learn alongside others. This provides continuity, reassurance, and community support throughout and beyond the 100 days.
Each week introduces a new theme to help build your understanding, self-awareness, and support taking aligned action in everyday life. These are invitations to explore and notice – not tasks to complete.
Each weekly theme includes:
A simple introduction to the topic, explained in accessible language
Short pre-recorded lessons help you understand the mechanics of your nervous system in your own time
Guided inquiry prompts to support reflection and awareness
Practical resources such as recorded meditations, guided practices, and simple worksheets
You’ll receive full access to Bronwyn’s online Toolkit Library until 31 January 2027 – a growing collection of practices, meditations, worksheets, and inquiry tools you can return to whenever you need.
There is also the option to book additional 1:1 sessions with Bronwyn during the journey, offered at a significantly reduced rate for participants. This can be helpful if you’d like more personalised support or space to integrate what’s emerging.
The programme is led by Bronwyn Benstead, an Integrative Somatic Coach and facilitator who supports the busy and overwhelmed work with stress, burnout, and anxiety through nervous system–informed, embodied approaches. Bronwyn’s work blends polyvagal-informed education, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and practical tools that support regulation, clarity, and self-leadership in everyday life.
I hope so! But this is the first time I’m running Befriend Your Nervous System, and that’s reflected in the current price. Future cohorts are expected to be offered at a higher rate (likely at least £199). This first round is a chance to join at a lower cost while helping shape how the programme evolves.
Digital resources will be shared through Podia alongside weekly emails focussed on that weeks theme. The resources on Podia include recorded meditations, bite-sized pre-recorded teachings, guided inquiry prompts, and digital & printable worksheets. You’ll be able to access the materials in your own time and return to them whenever you need.
Access to the programme content is ongoing.

Yes. While the in-person sessions offer valuable opportunities for connection and embodied practice, they are not required to take part in the programme. All core teachings, practices, and resources will be available to access in your own time, so you can still fully engage with the journey even if you can’t attend every session.
Ofcourse! You’re welcome to book a free no-obligation 20-minute call with Bronwyn. A relaxed, no-pressure space to connect and ask questions.
